Leaders Bios
Darcie Peck, E-RYT 500, is the owner and founder of Wind River Yoga. She has been teaching yoga to adults and children since 1997 and is forever humbled to be on the yogic path and to be able to share this love and wisdom with her community. She teaches all levels and all ages an inspirational class about life and living in your truest and highest potential. One of Darcie's passions is to empower children to navigate through life with grace and ease through the healing practice of yoga.

Darcie’s youth yoga classes integrate yoga asana or stretching and strengthening postures with a mindfulness curriculum she designed herself. She incorporates art, nature, dance, flow arts, games, activities within each session. Classes are designed to increase children’s self-esteem, awareness, coordination, patience and concentration. Children will learn how to warm up their bodies properly with exercises that emphasize breath work, flexibility and strength. They will experience many different yoga styles and movements that will further self-expression and creativity and we will be using meditation in movement props (flow arts) such as poi balls, hula hoops and fun yogic games to challenge the mind. We will also explore yogic philosophy, learning from the foundations of the 8 limbs of yoga (right action, asana, pranayama, relaxation techniques and meditation). Yoga Motion will improve stress reduction, aid injury prevention, and enhance your child's overall performance in school, sports and life. Come experience a fun and active class that will center your child and give them the tools to move through life with grace and ease.

Molly Perry (she/her), has spent most of her life outside and has a strong affinity for respecting, learning, and preserving the natural world. The things she cherishes most in life are camping, skateboarding, surfing, and listening/playing music as she drinks black coffee and reads a good book. Molly hopes to instill self sufficiency, empowerment, and knowledge as the children and her explore curiosities and dive deep into science and nature- all of course while having a ball!
Molly is passionate about environmental stewardship, equity, food sovereignty and fun. She is a recent graduate of the University of Vermont with a BA in art/photography and BS with a focus on outdoor education, justice and community development. With her variety of experience from work as a- wilderness leader, camp counselor, Americorps and Youth Conservation Core farmer, she comes well prepared to safely guide our keiki as they explore the farm.
Molly is new to the North Shore and can currently be found at the Sunrise Shack.
